A bunch of bats and beetles and so on!

Some at the request of my sister. In one of the sketches I was doodling a creature who lives on cave walls, like a bat but appearing like an insect, with thick whiskers that operate like antennae. It came out looking a bit too much like Stitch?

Learning to use some fun new markers, I drew a strange carrot man. Later, an orange girl. Next, cabbage maybe. Or pear.

A pokemon-themed surprise party was thrown for two friends of mine, so I made a team of randomised pokemon for them. Strangely ended up with two alakazams and an abra.

Sorry I haven’t posted for a while! It’s been a crazy ride for me for the last few months and one of the things I was working on during that time was a children’s book for the current ‘Cai Guo-Qiang’ exhibition at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.
The book was also made into an animation by the talented people at Studio Joho for the children’s interactive area.
feeling pretty lucky right now!

The Most Excellent Cool Gal, Alex Allen, Illustrated this gorgeous book for the Gallery of Modern Art! Go buy one, especially if you can’t make it to the exhibition!
